The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce was founded fifteen years ago and
currently has over one hundred members. There are a variety of business types
who belong to the chamber, from retail stores, insurance agents, fuel companies,
auto repair centers, recreation outlets, bakeries, hair salons, tour companies,
and others. The Chamber holds an annual dinner meeting each January, and also
sponsors Business After Hours a few times each year. The Chamber operates the
Visitor Information Center on Route 12 in Remsen, and also publishes a yearly
membership brochure. Meetings are held monthly at the Town of Trenton Municipal
Building.
